Harveys Furniture diabolocial trading standards must be investigated.

I am at my wits' end. I ordered a 3 piece sofa from Harveys which they promised would be delivered by CHRISTMAS! We are now in June. In that time they have managed to:

* LOSE our sofa, when they did deliver it was the WRONG COLOUR! 
* The delivery men scuffed all the carpet and walked in with mud on their feet in March.
* Rude staff behaviour, I didn't feel comfortable in my own home. 
* Parked so they blocked in my neighbour who was rushing to get out to an appointment! The way they drove off in a 30 mile an hour speed limit made me feel sick.

Please can someone tell me why, if they are members of the Furniture Ombudsman and must abide by their Code of Conduct - how they are still members and how they are still in business? I want to know who else would like this company investigated & has been treated really badly by them. How can you lose a sofa and then when you do deliver (months after the promised delivery date) it's the wrong colour. We were left sitting on garden chairs as we got rid of our old sofa to make room.

"Ah my harveys saga - ordered a 3 seater sofa in December 2016. In May it was delivered and was noticeably damaged with scratches in the leather. Called customer services and was told that someone would come out to repair it. So I waited. He came. It could not be repaired. So I called again and they ordered a replacement cover. This tool 8 weeks to arrive and when the guy came to fit it... you guessed it... scratched up leather. So I called again. At this point they offered me a replacement sofa or more replacement cushions to which my response was why on earth would I wait a further 8 weeks to be presented with yet more dodgy goods. They said they would take the sofa away and cancel the transaction but that leaves me and my family with no where to sit for potentially 8 weeks while we wait for a sofa from elsewhere and I don't have the disposable income to purchase a second hand sofa outright. The offer then was £170 deducted from my bill to be paid to the finance company and £50 compensation for my time spent off work to be in for the failed repair men. Reluctantly I took it having no other choice really and getting really sick and tired of having to hear the word harveys said in my house. The cheque came, the payment to the finance company did not. So I ring again and apparently it was put through but didn't go through. Hmmmm! It's has now been out through and I am assured it will work but if it doesn't I can feel free to call back. I eagerly await what comes next! Avoid harveys at all costs is my advice for anyone sucked in by their brand name and attractive advertising because they are the lowest of the low. "
